About me
Welcome to this corner of the internet
Hey, I’m Sky.
I’ve been living in Seoul for more than 5 years now. This blog started because every time a friend visited Korea, they’d blow up my phone with the same questions — where should I eat? what’s worth seeing? where do the locals actually go? After the hundredth DM, I figured I’d just put it all out here for everyone.
I’m obsessed with skincare and skin clinics — the science, the trends, the before-and-afters. I chase what’s actually working in K-beauty, not just what’s viral on TikTok for a week. I’ve tested more products and devices than I can count, and I only write about what I’d recommend to a close friend.
When it comes to food, I don’t do tourist traps. I hunt down truly tasteful restaurants — the kind of places that make you pause mid-bite and go damn, that’s good. I care about experience over anything: the ambiance, the service, the story behind the dish. If a place looks good on Instagram but the food is mediocre, you won’t find it here.
I also keep my eye on trends — what’s happening in Seoul right now, not last year. Fashion, beauty, culture, nightlife. If it’s bubbling up in Hongdae, Seongsu, or Yeonnam-dong, I’m probably already there.
